So that's where I was going to lead into the fact that social media was really helping me at the time.

And I wasn't really focused on like social media was to like tell my friends like I'm in Europe on tour.

something like no I wasn't really thinking anything of my socials it was just like for my friends or whatever I wasn't taking it that seriously and then I think during the injury process people kept asking me what's going on like how are you doing like it's so nice you know it's like so nice when people are asking you all these questions but you're like I wish there was a way to just like tell you all how everyone right now and then I don't have to answer and relive the same thing over and over right so social media started like becoming kind of becoming an outlet

and then I started gaining followers and then support from a lot of these followers that I didn't even know right at the time I probably had like 50k or something yeah there was all these people like sending me money for my surgery which every penny went to my surgery of course legit yeah and I still ended up paying more out of my pocket but

whoa like this is a thing now like social media is a thing now yeah I don't know if it just took me time to like figure that out or something but I think everyone

kind of figures it out in their own way especially I think everyone does it differently like the fact that you were able to kind of garner a really really kind supportive following and build a community around something really traumatic is super cool and like I think is a huge testament to you and like who you are because obviously your authenticity shines through and like people know that you you know what I mean like they know you have a kind heart and like you're not just asking people for money to ask people for money You know, like you truly were like in sink or swim mode.

And I think that's really cool that your followers showed up for you and did that because that's huge.

It took me time to actually start a GoFundMe because usually you have like also a friend that usually does it for you or whatever.

But I remember asking my parents like, what do you think I should do this? And my parents my entire life were like, hey, if you want to go to this event or whatever, like when they were still helping me, but they were like, if you want to go to do this, like, bake cookies and sell them on the side of the road.
