POD 1.17: If I Were The Devil

So if you've been on this earth for a while, like me, you know that we did not start the fire, as Billy Joel once sang.

We didn't start the fire.

Bad stuff has been happening on the earth for a long, long, long time now.

However, did you know this? Did you know that the 20th century was by far and away the most murderous, most evil, if you will, on record? The 1900s produced some of world history's worst episodes, including World War I, in which an estimated six and a half million people died, World War II, which was far worse.

An estimated 60 million people perished as the result of the Second World War.

You look at the genocides throughout the 20th century in Cambodia, in China, the Soviet Union, elsewhere.

The 20th century was the most gruesome, barbaric, and bloody of the ages.

And here in the 21st century, well, we're not off to a great start.

And if you're like me, you see it, you sense it, you hear and watch the news like there is something going on out there right now.

You see the moral decay that is prevalent out there in the US, and really all over the West.

You see abortion and euthanasia being accepted in the West today.

You see a more secularized society here in the US and throughout the West.

You see the birth rate here in the US and in other Western nations at all-time lows.

You see pornography and gambling readily accessible on our phones today.

You see more and more young people, speaking of our phones, you see more and more young people becoming addicted to these mini computers in our hands, and you're seeing more and more people being addicted to social media as well.

We all see it.

Look at the suicide rate, especially for young women and girls.

It's never been higher.

We see people marching through the streets protesting for, by the way, for radical Islamic terrorist groups.

What's wrong with this picture? So we all see it.

We feel it.

We know what's going on.

We're living in some very strange and perilous times.
