One of the four movies I saw today is The Goodbye Girl, a movie that I hadn't seen before and I thought was quite nice.
insane because this movie is like one of the like five movies that existed in this year.
rocks it's definitely better than the other movie that herbert ross directed this year that's also nominated for best picture the turning point which is a movie that by a good margin
yeah by a by a solid margin this one is like zippy and entertaining and i find the turning point to be a bit of a snooze so
yeah it's a simon screenplay it's these two leading performances i think are both incredible not that the women in the turning point are not giving good performances but i don't think they're particularly interesting performances coming from either of those two actresses but we'll talk about that but i think like marsha mason and richard dreyfuss are both really good in this movie and are like playing to their strengths really well i think they're both like super compelling in this movie and have really fun comedic chemistry and play off of each other really well.
yeah, especially because, like, the movie is basically a three-hander between, like, the two of them and Quinn Cummings as Lucy.
