87: Summer Season 2026

I watched Black Torch the other day, and I thought that was supposed to be pretty good because I heard good things about the manga, though I've never read it.

And the op looked good when I watched it on YouTube.

The show was an extreme meh.

It was very mediocre.

I got kind of bored partway through.

I was going to watch another show after it, but I was so disappointed.

I just couldn't bring myself to watch it again.

Wow, it made you out of watching anime.

That's impressive.

Yeah, I needed a day to recover.

So hopefully nobody else spent time on that one.

Did not, myself.

It looks, honestly, looking at the key art, it looks like, I was like, looks like typical Shonen Jump fodder, so I'm kind of like, eh, I don't need that right now.

I did get through, as far as I know, basically every anime on my thing.

And then for the ones that I decided were worth a second look, I did that.

Black Torch did not make my second list.

My most comment there was like, I feel like they put all their animation budget into the main character's neck.

Like, it's huge, makes Jotaro's neck look medium-sized.

Yeah.

Yeah, well, and then they have the fan service shots, too, where they put some effort into those.

And that's kind of it.

My review ends with, like, it'll probably be fine, but meh.
