In this episode of American Motherhood, we sit down with Daquan Neal, the Democratic candidate running to represent Ohio House District 39 in Montgomery County, to talk about the issues that matter to…
Daquan NealGuestBethanyHostYou've said you wanted to bring a different voice to the State House.
What do you think is missing, and what kind of leader would you be?

One of the first things that I think about when I talk about like bringing a voice, I think about a piece of legislation that was coming in through, uh, the House of Representatives.

Can't remember specifically what bill number it was, but I remember the bill and its intentions were.

Mm-hmm
Okay

they wanted to s- constrain us from being able to regulate any sort of industry that wanted to manipulate AI, uh, especially when we were giving these sweetheart deals to data centers.
Mm.

So I, the, to, I don't-- I hate to take this dig, or I hate to take this shot, but I have to because this is something that blew my mind.

Uh, my primary opponent, I didn't see that they did this 'cause they didn't really put in that much effort.

But my Republican opponent, uh, they just recently went in and updated their website because they ChatGPT'd, uh, his bio, his background.

And so now mind you, it wasn't his, it wasn't him who did it, like he, it was the Republican State Party that made his website for him.
