From theater to visual arts to musical performances, just the range was extraordinary.

But I'd like to ask you as an AirTalk listener, if you could program something based on your cultural interests that you think would be wonderful to include in a cultural Olympiad around the L.A. Games tomorrow.

in countries throughout Africa where the combination of African music with American jazz has made for extraordinary recordings and live performances.

I would love to see an international jazz festival with funding to bring musicians in from parts of Asia, from the African continent, from South America to Brazil.

What would you like to see based on your interests as someone who loves live theater, as someone who loves the visual arts? What would you like to see as a celebration of the culture of Los Angeles meeting the world, because that's the advantage of an Olympic Games.

You're sharing the culture that is here in Los Angeles with others and celebrating global culture as well.
