Season 6 Episode 4

Do you wanna talk about the next iteration of this and what your plan is? My, my Between Two Engines is finally coming to fruition.

Yeah.

We're, we're working on getting there.

Uh, it was actually something Luke and I had talked about a while ago, and he started working down that road, and we started having discussions.

Uh, younger generations like the videos, like the YouTube clips, like all that type of stuff.

These kids today.

These kids today.

Um, [clears throat] I know my kid wouldn't listen to a podcast if it didn't have a video with it.

Right.

So, um, we're working on the next ideation of the podcast.

We've started remodeling the, the podcast room down here where we've got about half the soundproofing done.

We bought some of the audio equipment, and we're going to do both a audio podcast and start posting the podcast to our YouTube channel.

That is awesome.

Many years ago, I loved...

There was Zach Galifianakis, the comedian, he would hit Between Two Ferns.

Two Ferns, yes.

And many years ago, I, I approached Lu- I wanted to do Between Two Engines so bad 'cause I just think that the video of us would be even better.

It would make it even better.

Oh, 100%.

It's gonna be great.

I'm hoping to have the first one done, um, hopefully by the end of the year.

I think that's a bit ambitious.

Probably after the first of the year, I'd like to get one done.

And, and we, we plan on building this out, and it's one of the things I talk to people about at the district meetings is I wanna build training sessions of like one of the first ones that talk about, "Okay, congratulations.

You're elected as a union steward."
