I don't know.

And, uh, I didn't have a way of getting music, so I just found a bassline on GarageBand and put it in the background.

So Sean and Cami, you know, [laughs] they, they didn't, they didn't mind me back when I didn't know what I was doing.

Not that I really know what I'm doing now.

Okay, I think I've covered all bases here guys.

I have got GarageBand recording, which is what I normally use, but I've also got a Google Meet recording so that I can get the audio and a transcript and I've also got Loom recording so that I can get a transcript because as i said like i'm just trying to cover all bases here i went to start recording the podcast and the shire people turned up and they've decided that they're going to do some landscaping i.e sawing down trees in the reserve that's like right opposite my house so there's been random sporadic chainsawing going on so yeah i thought i wasn't quite sure if my yeti microphone was gonna be able to block out the background sound or not so i thought i'll just do a backup with a loom i don't know if loom picks up the background sound or not and then just to be doubly sure i know google meet doesn't so hopefully we're gonna be okay So how are you? Welcome back.

It's going to be Saturday when you're listening to this and look at me go.

I mean, I am right on top of these podcast episodes lately and I have been recording them a couple of days before they get published.

I don't edit the podcast.

I mean, well, I mean, fully transparent.

From time to time, if the little one beside me starts going haywire and barking at, you know, the postie, then, of course, I'm going to hit stop and I'm just going to like rewind in GarageBand the bit of all the barking so you don't hear that.

And then I'll just start recording again.

Yeah.

And then you get a sort of GarageBand interface.

Even using a lot of normal iPhone apps on iPads, it usually just doesn't feel quite right scrolling, so I think there'll be a couple UI/UX opportunities, challenges, both.

Interesting little bezel there, where you can see the screen is curved, but it's on a, a blocked out, squared off, uh, edge there in the center.

Uh, the bicycle for the mind quote, that one continues to hit constantly.

But then you can see his, uh, excitement every time he gives a keynote.

He'll just be on stage, like, giddily testing GarageBand.

But his delivery there too is something really, really special.

So yes, it's accessible to the point where stuff is free.

Like you said, GarageBand, if you don't have access to GarageBand, bandlab.com, an incredible resource and lots of people educating on that as well.

It's got like a little live feed, kind of like a Twitter sort of thing.

It's all people releasing their music and It's got some AI stuff on it, which I'm not too...

I don't know.

It's just really interesting to see kids at that age making really good songs like on this software, like on GarageBand.

And like, it's really great.

I wish we had it when we were younger, like music generally.

But I think it's already there, you know, and I think it's there without having to use it like GarageBand.

That's a free thing on like iOS, like everything that you could need is in there, you know, and like it's kind of creating a lot of the music for you, you know, like they have the autoplay and all you have to do is press the chord and it will make a song, you know, like all you have to do is just like press a few buttons and there's a whole song there, you know.
