Adelaide Heward-MillsHostAnd what has dawned on me was the short time I've been here is how multi-talented and multi-faceted you are as a student body.
And as I sat down there, I was wondering whether you know how what you have in terms of the atmosphere around you, whether you know what a blessing it is.
Because I have stayed on many campuses because in high school, it was compulsory virtually to go to boarding school.
So from Form 1 to Form 5, everybody went to boarding school before this SHS business.
And after Form 5, if you wanted to continue, you would usually go back to boarding school for two more years.
So from the first year to the seventh year of high school, you were in boarding school.
And although it was a great experience, being here and being in your midst and sensing your genuine joy and excitement, I think it's Jesus that makes the difference.
And I was just thinking to myself, do they know what they have? And do they know how unique it is that the joy of the Lord She'll be in you and amongst you.
And then also I wondered if You know how beautiful the environment you are growing in is because your environment affects you and your environment can make you thrive or otherwise.
I have people who have passed it but because of the environment they were in before they came into contact with the church and therefore with Christ they didn't have many dreams.
And they stayed in an environment where everybody was like them or less.
