The war in Iran is back on. America is hitting hard and Israel is sitting on the sidelines waiting for coach to put them in. Can Donald Trump pull a win from this war after all? Is there anyâŚ
Andrew FoxHostSo, um, I do wanna start out today with a oldie but goodie, um, that I have argued a, a number of times, honestly, in our, our bar brawls of yore, um, because I think it's truer today than ever before.
Basically, regardless of oil prices, I do not think that a strategic holding pattern in Iran is gonna win the Republicans the midterms.
First of all, no r- no Democrat, I should say, will vote for a Republican in 2026 even if the Democrat candidate is a Nazi socialist, anti-Semitic jihadi whose platform rests completely on destroying America from the ground up.

You wouldn't have any of them, you wouldn't have any, any of them in American politics anyway, surely.
Um, I think that independents are likely, unfortunately, going to lean Democrat if it, if, if they consider the war to be, um, a major voting issue for them, if the war just meanders down the strait and goes effectively nowhere.
And I'm sure that the same stagnation in the Gulf is going to lose the Republicans some of their own voters too, particularly the, whatever, Tucker Carlson class, or whatever you wanna call them.

But yeah, you know, I was ha- I was actually having the same thought literally about an hour ago.

American voters tolerate this humiliation on a weekly basis? Like, uh, America is being so embarrassed on the world stage by this, this conflict.
