This week’s Sinister Sightings has us wondering if the people we’ve lost ever really leave us. A black dog, a perfectly timed cardinal, and a solar light that suddenly comes to life may be signs from…
Black Lab from Lulu Ladybug.
Hey beautiful ladies, it's been a moment.
I'm happy to write in for your sinister sightings today because since my last encounters, you never know when the next one's gonna happen.
And it did.
As I
speak, I was just to type the sentence with someone's name thinking, should I use this name or not or initials? And the most beautiful cardinal, which is part of this story, just flew right in my line of sight.
Okay, that means I am where I'm supposed to be.
A person with the initial A in his 30s left our earth too soon.
He was one of my son's childhood friends and unfortunately lost a very quick battle to cancer.
He said, Years ago, our disconnect had something to do with a canine companion, black Labrador dog that I was raising, and the results were some discord communications and the end of a friendship between his mother and I.
As I said, I went to the wake to support my mother and out of respect for this wonderful person who was not with us anymore.
He was a big fan of certain characters, etc., and had many, many friends and loved ones.
He was a big personality.
It just so happens to be that he had a roommate that had a black dog.
Not a lab, but a black dog nonetheless.
Noted.
The person that passed had a brother who was a little boy.
So during the week when they were deciding where the funeral arrangements should end up, the brother and the dad went to one arrangement and pulled out a black stuffed animal.
I suppose from said roommate and said, here you go to my son.
This is for you.
This is from Uncle A. I sat there in shock looking like, oh my god, are you kidding me? What in the world? Where does a black dog come into existence in this scenario? It feels like it must be a sign that I'm in the right place and this person that has passed knows that I'm there because it's my black dog that did something that caused the end of my friendship with the deceased's mother.
How freaky is that? Next day, the funeral reference to the cardinal from the beginning of this story, sitting outside in my backyard the day of the funeral with my coffee, and a cardinal comes very close to me, one or two feet, which never happens.
It's just looking at me, tilting its head and watching me drink my coffee, and stays there for about 10 to 20 seconds and then flies away.
