This week’s Sinister Sightings has messages from the other side, a childhood crime that involves a very determined neighbor and a getaway bike, and a tiny sign from a lost loved one that showed up…
Okay, the first one, I Love a Medium.
"Hello, my creepy friends.
This is my third Sinister Sighting submission.
Every time I think I've told all of my stories, something else pops into my head and I just have to share.
My sister and I love going to mediums.
We have one in our area that we absolutely adore.
Most of the time we do group readings, but on this occasion, we decided to schedule private readings.
It takes a lot out of her to do individual sessions, especially since there are five of us sisters, but she agreed.
Before we get into the reading itself, there's something important to know.
I had always heard that if you wanna test whether a medium is genuine or whether it really is your loved one coming through, you should ask that loved one a question before the session begins.
That detail will become important later.
When it was my turn, I asked the medium if I could record the session.
Sometimes things are said during readings that don't make sense right away or click later.
She agreed.
Three people came through that day.
First was my dad, which wasn't surprising.
He talked about how much I'm like him, and he said he wasn't worried about me because he knew I would be okay.
The next person was an older maternal figure.
She apologized for things that had happened during her life and said she loved us.
She also told me how happy she was that I was enjoying her kitchen items.
Immediately I knew it was my grandmother on my mother's side.
I had several of her old pans, and I brag about them all the time.
The third spirit kept repeating the name Michael.
The medium described him as an older father figure.
At first I couldn't think of any deceased Michaels in my life, but as the conversation continued, I realized who it was, my ex-husband's father.
