Mercy is one of the names of Allah.

Compassion is one of the names of Allah.

Every time we begin an endeavor, we are taught to say, In the name of God, the merciful, the compassionate.

Mercy and compassion are formless, yet their power is immense.

It's been described often as a wheel with many spokes and all the spokes lead to the same place.

So the path involves knowledge, but it also involves action and it involves becoming.

We have to become Compassion.

We have to become truth.

Which usually needs to start with empathy?

The Lord is gracious and righteous.

Our God is full of compassion.

The Lord preserves the simple-hearted.

And this is what I saw with Jesus.

Compassion, the greatest compassion we've ever seen, never compromising the truth.

And for some reason on the left, we've begun to think if you tell somebody something that they don't like, even if it's true, you somehow dehumanize them and, you know, stolen their dignity and all this other stuff.

And that's just not at least from a biblical perspective how it works.
