This week’s Sinister Sightings has a little bit of everything: a mimic with a McDonald’s alibi, loved ones finding their way back to say goodbye, a creepy-ass Peekaboo puppy, and a dad who apparently…
Hi, Donna and Carrie.
I'm a longtime listener and started listening to the APC podcast in 2021.
You ladies make my day every single episode and I love you both so much.
I have three stories, so I'm sorry for the length of this email.
The first one that I'm going to tell you is about a mimic that I swear followed my mom around for years.
She had this boyfriend who was a real piece of work.
His name was David.
She said, I don't care if you say the ugly bald headed man's name.
He was a P.O.S.
Anyway, we, my brother, mom and I had just gotten home from a wedding in Portland and David didn't go, so he and his sons went to see a movie.
My mom was sitting in her room with her door open and the TV on low.
My brother and I were in our rooms sleeping.
About three minutes later, my mom hears the front door open and hears two people walk in and they were having a conversation.
She said, oh, cool.
David and Davey are home.
Not even a few seconds later, her phone lights up with the text from David saying, I'm at McDonald's.
Do you want anything? Donna, I knew you would appreciate this part of the story.
Absolutely.
She immediately jumped up, grabbed her home protection device and closed the bedroom door and waited.
These instances kept happening until they broke up for good in 2014.
My aunt, who is sensitive to energies, used to tell my mom all the time that he was, quote, the devil and we believed her, even after they broke up.
The next story is about my two cousins, Billy and Frankie.
They died many, many years before I was born.
But when I heard this story as a kid, it always stuck with me.
