Why Doesn't America Have a National Dish?

... [laughs] When you and I decided to create a state hot dog for all 50 states to save America-

I've never felt more patriotic in my life

...

I know.

I think we really did something there.

And today-

Screw f- screw 4th of July

... [laughs] We did.

That podcast recording made me proud to be an American.

[laughs]

When we were looking up for what berries could be foraged-

[laughs]

... to turn into a mostarda to put on a reindeer sausage-

[laughs]

... ah, that's when I really-

Yep

... felt like I was a part of this land.

That's what it's all about.

That's the melting pot.

Today we have an even bigger task [laughs] and that's-

[sighs]

... to choose a national dish for America because so many times, I literally just cooked something in the Mythical Kitchen-

Mm-hmm

... that they say is the national dish of Romania.

Okay.
