Chicken of the Sea

I'm not going to stunt.

I got the regular Chicken of the Sea joints down there for $1.25.

But this joint that I got, it's called Seasons.

I'm about to take a picture of it.

And I personally could not be more excited to see this.

I have been very fortunate to get to work on brands that are better for you, whether it's Palm Wonderful, Think Thin Protein Bars, Kibita Kombucha, Wild Protein Chips here at Archer, Meat Snacks, even when I was at Chicken of the Sea working on canned tuna, which is a very lean, high protein product.

I think it is tough for consumers to always have to read labels and always have to do the research.

People have busy lives and they want to go to the store and pick something up.

Chicken of the Sea is a brand as far as I'm aware.

I think, I think, you know, I think that corporations have gotten cheaper with these giveaways, and I was noticing this a couple weeks ago, uh, because it was someone's, like, home run inning, and if, like they hit a home run, if the team hit a home run, then, like someone, like a predetermined person got like $300 to a casino restaurant.

Uh, c- yeah, like a restaurant at a casino.

Yeah.

Yeah.

I've also been remembering, do you remember the, the Jessica Simpson Chicken of the Sea confusion?

Of course.

And things that people know or don't know, early Disneyland relied enormously on corporate sponsors, especially in the food area.

Swift, Sunkist, Fritos, Chicken of the Sea, Hills Brothers Coffee, so many.

And I think today sometimes we think about quote unquote corporate sponsorship and we think about commercialization and things like that.

When you're going back and doing this research and seeing all of these companies that really helped Walt and Disneyland lay the foundation, does it change the way you think about early Disneyland and just how much these food-related sponsorships really helped make Disneyland and everything came after it possible?

So I thank you all, Disney, for making that executive decision.

And also, it gave us some pretty incredible themed dining.

The Chicken of the Sea Pirate Ship Restaurant is one of those places, if only time travel existed.

That is probably where I am going.

I, like before you said it, I was about to be like, "You know whose shoe line is great? Jessica Simpson." [laughs]

It was a shock to everyone 'cause everybody was like, "Oh, Chicken of the Sea Jessica is stupid." And she was like, "Joke's on you, girls, 'cause I'm putting out the footwear."

But if you put in Jessica Simpson nude, you would probably, in search images, you would probably get a bunch of Jessica Simpson nude images.

Chicken of the Sea, that texture gets it.

She played the ditzy blonde, the dumb blonde, but you knew she was smart at the same time.

Was she? Yeah, dude.

Unless we're dazzled by secrets of her life that we didn't previously know.
