19 News now in the suburbs after several law enforcement agencies executed search warrants at a local store.

The

owner being investigated for selling marijuana and alcohol to minors.

19 News reporter Olivia Yatuma working the story for us.

She's live with a story that continues to develop.

Yeah, I'm in North Olmstead here at Bretton Beverage where officers were this morning searching this store.

I wanted to take a look at how close this neighborhood is here with lots of families and children nearby.

I also learned today that the owner of this store, this is not his first run-in with police.

So the people I spoke to in that neighborhood, very concerned.

I wonder what's going on down there.

It's the question neighbors have been asking since officers showed up to Breton Beverage Wednesday morning.

I've been in there.

My kids go in there.

And so, yeah, you never want to think that anything is close to home is going on that could be potentially harmful to your kids.

According to police, the owner, Khalid Askar, is being investigated for selling marijuana, alcohol and tobacco to minors.

I think that's terrible.

I mean, you don't push drugs to minors or anybody really.

I walked around the nearby neighborhood asking neighbors like Tony Doramo and Connie Larson how they feel and if they've ever been to the store.

I went there like two times and two times was enough for me.

So I would go elsewhere to buy things.

How

come? I just didn't feel comfortable in the store.

I'm really

surprised that this is happening here.

To be fair, I went to Bretton Beverage trying to get the owner's side of the story.
