Because it also makes me think about, as I was reading the book, and the parts around, like, imposter syndrome and math anxiety, and I was relating so hard to those feelings-

I shouldn't even say I've given myself, because I do think in many ways a lot of it was also given to me.

Right? And so because of that, when I encounter something math-based, I will start to cause problems to the, like, my logic before I even get to it.

Like, I've already started to worry about it to the point that now I'm like, "2 plus 2, I, I don't know," even though I know what 2 plus 2 is, right?

And the same way, I think, with your name, where I start to fear I'm gonna mispronounce it, so then I get so caught up in my head before I ever get to it that I'm never really giving it a fair shot.

It's coming, I'm coming at the name with all of this information that's causing all these-

I'm just gonna turn you loose on that, 'cause I have a feeling that what we just talked about, the whole thing with the name, probably does bring up some of the stuff you talk about with, like, ma- math anxiety.

"Oh my God, what if I get her name wrong? Oh my God, what if I fail this test?" You start catastrophizing everything, and you take your previous experiences of, "One time, I called him Hector, but it was really Miguel, but I was, like, in my, in the back, and then Miguel got so mad at me, so if I do the same thing to Joan, then what, what is he gonna say? Uh, what is she gonna say? And now she's gonna get mad," so you're carrying your previous experiences.
