The numbers are out for the week of August 24th through the 28th, and it was a rough week for one "Beyond the Gates," probably their weakest week in months, and we'll dive into the numbers right now.
So special note from Soap Opera Network, "The Young and the Restless" and "Beyond the Gates'" Tuesday episodes were excluded from the total viewers and household weekly averages, probably due to preemptions.
That might be the reason why the numbers are a little lower than usual, but I don't think it affects the total and averages that much in my opinion.
Wednesday, 0.19. Thursday, 0.23, and Friday they averaged a 0.20. For GH in women 18 to 49 on Monday, 0.18. Tuesday, 0.19. Wednesday, down to a 0.14. Thursday and Friday they were up a little bit to a 0.15.
In women 25 to 54, the numbers were for Monday and Wednesday, 0.24. Tuesday, their best day, was a 0.30. Thursday, 0.25, and Friday they averaged a 0.22. Jasmine, your thoughts on these numbers as we inch closer to the end of August and finally the beginning of September?
September?Rough week for, for BTG, I will say, with, you know, those numbers.
But, um, I-- it, it's, it's hard not to, like, question whether or not, like, they were affected by, like, any, like, any type of a holiday thing or, you know, whatever.
But it's-- but also it's like, it, it's, uh, the other, you know, the other soaps did-- they had, you know, they did okay.
Like, you know, like, that's, that's what, uh, where you feel kinda like, "Okay," 'cause what about the other soaps? Like, you know.
Like the fact that, the fact that "Bold and the Beautiful" was, like, just, like, literally right on top like that, and then it was crazy to, like, see how BTG dropped back down to, you know, number four after they had that moment where they were, like, kinda sorta close where they, where they could've taken that second spot, but then it's like back down to the bottom.
