When You Think You're Too Far Gone | Kristin Kurtz's Addiction God Story Proves Otherwise

She hated God, drank, did drugs, and smoked two packs a day — and believed she was too far gone for God to ever want her. Then one Sunday changed everything. ***Kristin Kurtz*** didn't grow up in church. She grew up in chaos — constant moves, trauma, and a deep belief that if God existed, He wouldn't want anything to do with her. By her teens she was numbing the pain with alcohol, drugs, and cigarettes, living what she calls a "***Russian roulette life.***" She got a DWI at 20 and half-joked she'd burn a church down just by walking in. But when her sister invited her to church in November 2002, something happened she never expected. Within one or two services she gave her heart to Christ — and then every addiction, every craving for alcohol, drugs, and cigarettes just fell off. No withdrawals. No rehab. Just God. That ***supernatural deliverance*** was only the beginning of a life marked by miracle after miracle — including children doctors told her she couldn't have, and a house God so clearly prepared just for her family. Today Kristin hosts the ***Hope Unlocked podcast*** and runs New Wings Coaching, where she serves as a "wonder activator" — helping women discover the everyday miracles God is already doing around them. If you've ever thought you were too far gone for God to reach, this episode is for you. ✨ ***In this episode:*** Growing up in chaos and hating God Her descent into addiction and the "Russian roulette" years The miraculous, instant deliverance — no withdrawals, no rehab Her miscarriage and the miracle children that followed Recognizing God's fingerprints in the small details The house miracle: 25 years of prayers answered all at once How Kristin became a "wonder activator" with a mandate to help 10,000 women take flight and release their voice. 🎙️ ***Connect with Kristin:*** ***Hope Unlocked Podcast on Apple Podcast and Spotify*** Website: https://newwingscoaching.net ***New Wings Coaching:*** https://bookme.name/newwings/hopeunlocked  📩 ***New to Witness the Wonder?*** Follow for real-life God stories, faith testimonies, and hope-filled conversations: 🎧 ***Listen on Spotify, Apple Podcasts or YouTube*** 🎙️ ***Connect with Christina Smith:*** To invite Christina to speak, schedule her as a guest on your podcast, inquire about being a guest on Witness the Wonder, or support the mission of the podcast, visit: ChristinaSmithOfficial.com #Addiction #supernaturaltestimony #christiantestimony #deliverance #witnessthewonder #christianpodcast #miraculous #addictionrecovery #faithpodcast #godsgrace #hope #godstories
