What do you think about general perspective on Portal? If you had to present it to someone that is not really fond of CS like we are, what would you say? What, Shiro got robbed? No, but
I would say like...
It was a fun event.
I think we got a really good playoff bracket with some of the best teams in the world.
No major problems in the group stage.
I would maybe say, like, a big downfall for Vitality after maybe a bit of a nail in the coffin for them.
Or maybe more an omen for the future, maybe even, if you can look at it like that, considering they're going to be playing with JL for a bit over the season.
But...
I would say that it's as much as it is just like another...
It's more of another tier one event.
It's not necessarily like the biggest one of the year.
I think we might look back on this and say that it changed the season for, in particular, Spirit and Vitality quite a bit.
It's probably what I would think mostly about this event so far.
Sim, do you agree with the Neo in the coffee? Do you think Vitality is just done for now? Yeah,
I think probably the case, right? Because in theory, if you look at the two players that JL is going to be coming in to replace, right? Like in theory, replacing Mezzi should be the easier one because he's not calling, right? He doesn't have those responsibilities.
He's maybe not game planning as much.
It's going to be Apex next that is out, right? So no matter how you look at it, like your expectations for the next outing of Vitality without Apex is...
probably going to be even worse.
So I do kind of feel like we're going to have a period where Vitality are just like an also-ran.
And by that, I actually still think they'll make, you know, some playoffs here and there.
They'll probably just settle around like fourth or fifth best in the world for a while.
And if you remember the storyline about that Astralis, they actually had this period where they sort of in between majors, they sort of disappeared for a bit.
And then when it came to the major, obviously they ended up upsetting them in their quarters and they ended up winning that major overall, right? And...
