Autism and ADHD are on the rise, and so are the number of parents looking for answers. At the London Clinic of Nutrition, up to 60-70% of enquiries at times now come from parents of children with…
Yeah, I think a lot of the time, obviously, the kids that we're seeing, they haven't even got the opportunity to play or go into those school environments because, you know, the parents are noticing something's not right for their kids from, say, the age of two, let's say, and they haven't even gone to nursery.
So I guess, you know, for people listening in, I think the question is, what what do people do in these in the world we live in to to mitigate their kids maybe being in those situations and i think that i'm always of the view that you know healthy sperm and a healthy egg makes a healthy baby right so i think all parents should should do detoxes before they are looking to conceive right um we know that again examples of the toxic super in is like when they analyze, you know, breast milk from mothers, the amount of toxins they find in breast milk.
So we're in this situation where we want to breastfeed our children, but we know there's huge amounts of toxins in it.
But then obviously the formula is made of junk, right? I think on balance, people are still better off breastfeeding, right? But if you look at the data now, the amount of people that are pursuing IVF and the fertility crisis, Again, a lot of that is to do with, I think, to do environmental toxins.
So I think maybe a good starting point for parents is that if before they conceive is considering a six month detox for both parents would be wise.
So if we're looking at the, the environment within which the fetus grows, um, I, I, it's something that I, I, I, I'm quite passionate about the idea of creating the right environment, both environmentally and, and whatever, uh, for the female and the masculine body, but predominantly the female body.
So like workups, like blood work, making sure thyroid, vitamin and minerals and stuff are optimal, but definitely toxins.
So it's critical, like I won't say it's critical, but it's a good idea to run a pretty broad toxicology profile that would look at mycotoxins, which is really important.
And mold toxins on MRI scans can show, it's postulated to cause ADHD if exposed to in early years.
So running a really thorough toxicology, looking at mycotoxins, heavy metals, potentially some endocrine disruptors.
And Zach Bush talks a lot about, there's different hypotheses around the formation of autism and glyphosate is one of the big ones that features because its ability to combine with aluminium in the gut, glyphosate on its own in the gut doesn't get absorbed very well through the gut.
Put glyphosate and aluminium together, they can cross the gut and blood brain barrier.
And especially so that now, back in the day, you know, when we had the MMR as it was, like a few years ago, up until about three years ago, all the vaccines still contained mercury.
