I'm delighted to welcome Matias Takari to the podcast.

Matias is a professor at the Department of Geology at the University of Chile in Santiago.

Matias has been working on water resource issues in Chile for many years.

We met a couple of years ago in Sao Paulo at the groundwater congress, and I was very impressed with his work.

Today, Matias is gonna give us some background information on Chile, 'cause we've never had anybody talk about Chile before on the podcast, and then we will discuss water resource issues related to agriculture, urban water use, and climate.
