So a lot of things are advancing, and you were able to take advantage of those and then develop this.

Yeah.

Well, it was, there's an interesting story behind it because after we finished the Summer Institute in '15, I was teaching a GIS and Water Resources class here jointly with David Tarbutton at Utah State University.

And what had become apparent was that in my original message to the National Weather Service, I had said, "Oh, we'll have forecasting, inundation mapping," blah, blah, blah, you know, I was sort of very fulsome in my ambitions.

But it turned out the mapping part was much harder than forecasting the flow.

And it comes as video shows a huge rock carried by those floodwaters as a so-called barrier lake is at high risk of breaching and causing downstream flooding.

That's according to the Water Resources and the Ministry of Water Resources within the Chinese government.

Now, a landslide which was part of the first catastrophic flooding event inadvertently dammed Nepal's Kola River near where it meets one of the other rivers, causing the lake to form.

And we're told as well by some of the officials that that as of the morning of August 27, the lake was estimated to contain about 2 million cubic metres of water.

You know, and it's in excess of thirty-odd thousand, uh, head of cattle that are run on the property.

But there's lots of opportunity to expand that through, uh, further investment and focus on how you better utilize those water resources.

resources.So the crop production that's currently taking place at Lejoone, is that all for feeding cattle?

Yeah, that's, that's to support the existing cattle enterprise.

That what we've been able to do at Lejoone is, uh, get our first-round weaners, uh, out inside the same year that they're branded, which is a pretty unique thing to do.
