This May, three young men were officially ordained as priests of the Diocese of Dallas.
So who are these new priests of our diocese? What are their stories? How did God lead them to this point, to this vocation, in this diocese? In this very special episode of our podcast, we'll hear from those three new priests, Father Nick Weiss, Father Jeremy Manis, and Father Matthew Biagi, as they tell us about how God led them to the priesthood and, looking forward, how they each hope to serve the diocese through their holy calling.
[gentle music] Ahead of the May 23rd presbyteral ordination, we at the Texas Catholic sat down with the then deacons, now priests, Weiss, Manis, and Biagi, to learn a bit about who these young men are.
And the first thing we wanted to know was, "What's your story, your vocation story?" In other words, how did God lead you to the priesthood? For Father Weiss, the call to the priesthood began to emerge early on while he was still a little kid attending masses with his family at St.
