VCS Vol Mich26 #23 with War On The Horizon

I am your host, C. Willie, joined again this week by the lovely and talented

quarter peep guess what it's metal night

we are fired up we've got our friends from war on the horizon here with us and we are definitely going to rock the detroit shirt company studio tonight you guys have some great things going on i know that uh you know it's it's kind of been a little bit of an evolution of the band but tell us a new ep a new voice what's been happening

Um, yeah, we, um, we re re released our EP from a couple of years back.

Uh, we, and we named this one, um, we, the broken, uh, we added what happened was two years ago.

Uh, we still hadn't played shows yet.

We were just still kind of a new band or whatever.

And, uh, I was kind of waiting to put us all together and, and we've been playing for years altogether.

So we kind of knew what we wanted to do when we hit the ground, you know, when we hit the ground running.

And so I knew we needed some music out there to show, good sounding music to show venues and stuff like that.

So we put out this EP.

We knew that nobody was going to hear it, obviously, because nobody knew who we were at the time because we hadn't even played a show yet.

And so in June of 26, we recorded the night.

and added it to the already four songs that we had and just called it We The Broken, but we re-skinned it and I made a new cover for it and made it that blue theme, which now matches our website and pretty much everything we have.

Now it's a five song called The Night, which was re-released in June of 2026.

It's doing really well.

We really like it.

We just got the actual physical copies in before our show last Friday at the Machine Shop.

And they did really well and people seem to be liking it.

And yeah, we're really happy with it.

Fantastic.

And you mentioned one of the legendary spots in Michigan to play the machine shop.

What a great place to be introducing everything there.

How was that?

It is, like you said, it's legendary.
