Crafted in Carolina Beer Festival presented by the South Carolina Brewers Guild

All right, walking into the gate.

and run into familiar face, familiar brewery owner.

Tell us who you are and what brought you to Columbia today.

Yeah, Matt Bowes from the Southern Growl and the president of the South Carolina Brewers Guild.

I'm here for the beautiful weather, beautiful beer.

Hell yeah, South Carolina beer representing out here today.

So I'm sure you've got a booth here, correct?

Oh yeah, absolutely.

Absolutely.

We've got our Grout Kolsch, Right Dog Red, our Irish Red, and Berryman Strata, our hazy IPA, southern IPA.

So do y'all have anything coming up in the pipeline that our beautiful listeners need to know about?

April 11th, we've got our 12-year anniversary up in Greer at the brewery, celebrating 12 years.

We've got a bunch of barrels we've harvested.

We'll be pouring all those, you know, aged beers.

I've got some vintage stuff from 2015 I'll be tapping.

And, yeah, live music all day.

And, yeah, a hell of a time.

Well, congrats to 12 years.

That's a big feat, especially in South Carolina with all the legislation.

And then you had COVID that hit pretty bad.

So everything's going good.

Yeah, hey, keep going, and like I said, on the name of South Carolina beer, people love it, and we're going to keep making the good stuff.

Wayne, anything else for Mr. Matt so we can let him go and do his Presidente

stuff? No, just thanks for doing all you do for the Guild and for South Carolina beer, and make

some good stuff, too.
