In this episode, we break down Judge.me’s brand-new, ultra-cheap email marketing platform and discuss whether its bare-bones features are actually worth ditching Klaviyo. We also share our recent…
And Jack, I hear that you've downloaded the hot new kid on the street for email marketing, the
JudgeMe
email platform.
How's that looking?
Yeah, I mean, for those who don't know, they announced very recently that they're going into email.
JudgeMe is a reviews platform, very cheap, like $15 a month.
Very cheap.
Like super cheap.
There's been, so I do a freelance Shopify development and that sort of thing, consulting for brands.
And I've seen folks paying hundreds of dollars a month for some of the other alternatives.
And I'm like,
is that really worth it guys? Really?
Yeah, I honestly think, this is a bit of a side thing, but I honestly think like the reviews, like the, like, you know, a lot of, like we use Comstar as well, and I'll get into that, but like that's a customer service and they, and Carrie, the founder, co-founder, he talks a lot about how like VC, customer service apps and stuff like are just, you know, just like stealing money from you basically.
But I almost think reviews is even worse.
Like reviews is, is like incredible how much they, and it'll be like the tiniest feature that they'll, they'll gate behind, but like a $400 a month plan.
And it's all like Google Shopping Syndicate reviews.
And then it'll be like, only if you subscribe to our pro plan for $400 and something a month.
And it's just the most ridiculous thing.
Yeah, I'm not a fan.
Overall, I like Judge Me.
I would say it lacks.
It makes sense that it's $15 a month because there's definitely a lot of little things where I'm like, that should be fixed.
That could be improved.
But it's $15 a month, so I'm not really going to complain too loudly because the alternative is... 50 100 plus a month and those platforms are like if you have money to burn i love junip like i used that for years that was a super sweet great platform that's the one i'd go with but judge me is is solid for what it costs there's also like a pretty good free tier which is it's awesome to see because you know like we're in e-com land where everything is like little paper cuts of subscriptions but anyways back to back to the email platform i'm curious to Cause it's like, they're, they're super cheap, right? Like their rollout is like, you know, this is the judge me way.
It's going to be super cheap.
