USA Wins Presidents Cup

Uh, Phil Mickelson sighting.

We got President's Cup recap.

Uh, Tom Kim is planning to dodge some of the military service.

We'll get into that too.

Uh, but I think the most important is the President's Cup.

That's why we're here.

Um, they, the US, they mount the second...

No, the largest comeback in President's Cup history.

Uh, I looked it up.

There have been two instances where they're trailing it, uh, on Sunday.

So I was like, "Well, I guess it's not that big of an accomplishment.

You're not, like, breaking barriers here, right?" I mean, it's only happened, like, once, 'cause they destroy every single time.

But, uh, [chuckles] it's interesting what everyone's been saying in the news with, um, Sean McDermott, I mean, Brandt Snedeker and-

[chuckles]

[chuckles] How he, how he's been captaining this team.

Uh, and then, like, some of the decisions he was making.

But, uh, Matt, what were you seeing out there? Uh, give us a little bit of a insight on the, on the President's Cup this last week.

Yeah.

I watched a ton of golf this weekend.

Um, I love team golf, I'll say that.

Uh, the President's Cup is always this weird thing where, um, you know, it, it's, it's kind of like a Ryder Cup knockoff a little bit.

Uh, so it's never been...

And it's not super competitive either, right? We've, we've run, we've won 11 in a row now.

So the US team is, has dominated the internationals, and the internationals have been extremely Um, decimated with LIV, right? They lost Joaquin Niemann, uh, a ton of these guys that like, that like are, are...

Or Cam Smith, all the Australians, uh, that were on the team basically are gone except for Adam Scott.
