Ben Moore is an Army veteran who went from a first mushroom trip with a deployment buddy to secretly growing his own, taking five gram doses in his living room while his wife held space upstairs with…
How do you apply the letting go or resistance just like in daily life? Like, is that applied to just letting go of identifying thoughts and letting them go? Like when you were teaching that to people? Yeah,
It's meaning making, right? They'll always tell you, we are meaning making machines.
I believe that if you're in superposition, which means you're connected to source, the source of all things, you don't need a meaning to do it.
And then when we can connect like our spiritual self to our physical expression of feeling, there doesn't have to be any ancillary reason.
Now, of course, cause and effect is a real thing, right? When we understand that, we can understand how we affect reality and what may happen because of that.
Yet there is, you know, I have these different approaches to my own concepts of life and how to interact with reality.
And one of those is, you know, some Zen teachings, which is the art of unattachment and not being attached to the outcome.
Oftentimes you go to somewhere and you're like, okay, I have to do this because I hope to get this outcome.
But what if you can approach the event without an idea of an outcome, right? What if it's just doing it because you said you want to do it? And then you do it at the best of your ability, no matter what the outcome is.
Because if you don't have an outcome, you're not actually manipulating the reality.
I can adjust this approach or I can make some changes to improve how I showed up or whatever it may be.
And this is obviously I'm applying this as a general approach, but it's very helpful to sort of distill back, back, back to like a governing principle of life.
