**INTRO:** I’m Hank, longtime podcaster, filmmaker, and YouTuber, and this is my review of Spider-Man: Brand New Day. This is a spoiler-filled review of the movie so you’ve been warned. **BUDGET:**…
Typically, you wanna hit that 2.5 to 3 times for profitability, and this movie hit a billion dollars in six days.
So they have nothing to worry about on the budget front whatsoever.
However, that doesn't always mean that you, in the next movie, turn around and spend even more money.
Even though you'll probably get it back easily, you should always use your same budget, or if you can bring it down a little less so you're even more profitable.
When it comes to settings, New York City, in my opinion, feels absolutely alive, like the real version of the city.
Populated, expansive, it adds a character to the film, unlike many other films that feel so much smaller.
Even the interior shots of damage control and the apartments, they all felt larger than life to me and realistic.
The damage that's caused in the environment feels like it's going to put people in danger.
And I don't know how long it's been since I really felt like that in one of these types of movies.
