Brothers Royston and Anthony Langdon, along with Johnny Craig and Richard Steele, became Space Hog.
Steele apparently replaced the band's original guitarist, but that was before they recorded their debut album, so we're more or less going to gloss over that here.
Royston Langdon, a.k.a. Ray Sprinkles, played bass guitar, lead vocals, keyboards, and backing vocals.
Tone Down, was responsible for rhythm guitar, backing, and lead vocals.
Johnny Craig, a.k.a. Corky, is the drummer and also did some backing vocals.
Meanwhile, Richard Steele, a.k.a. Rich, does lead guitar and backing vocals.
Their debut album, Resident Alien, was a big hit, with its lead single being the classic In the Meantime, which is the song we opened this very episode with.
While it's entirely possible anyone listening to this may have heard any number of other songs that we'll be playing tonight, everyone, everyone has almost undoubtedly heard In the Meantime, because it's a fantastic song and it's been pretty popular.
But in 2011, they reunited properly as Space Hog, eventually releasing one more album.
The band is officially still together as of today, still playing shows, but their 2013 effort remains their final album to date.
As far as their sound, they're a rock band with a touch of the bizarre.
They obviously take a lot of inspiration from the space rock genre of the 70s, with a healthy dose of glam rock thrown in for good measure.
While they're more than capable of plenty of dynamic styles, as you'll be hearing tonight, their general sound is best described as energetic, weird, and fun.
