In March 2015 an intruder broke into Aaron Quinn's home in the middle of the night and abducted Aaron's girlfriend, Denise Huskins.

But when Aaron went to the police they thought his story was too wild to be true so they outright accused Aaron of Denise's murder.

But when Denise was found unharmed just two days later police started to believe that the entire thing was just an elaborate hoax created by a woman looking for attention.

Aaron and Denise were both adamant that they were telling the truth but it would take several months and another city's police force before anyone would believe them.

So what really happened to Denise Huskins and Aaron Quinn? Was there really an abduction in the middle of the night or were police right and the entire thing was just a lie? Christy Oxberg investigates.

I can't wait because when it comes down to the only person that's gonna believe you is a woman.

But I have already enthralled you with fun facts about California, um, but I love doing the fun facts so much.

Um, so I tried to find some fun facts specifically about Vallejo, uh, which is 32 miles north of San Francisco.

Uh, Vallejo was the first permanent home for California's state government and is the current home to Six Flags Discovery Kingdom, which is the only wildlife, marine life, and thrill ride park in North America.

Vallejo neighborhood Mare Island was home to the first US naval station on the West Coast.

Vallejo has also been used as the backdrop for various movies, including Zodiac, Bumblebee, 50 First Dates, Patch Adams, and Flubber.

Also filmed in Vallejo, the TV series 13 Reasons Why, which starred Dylan Minnette, uh, who has done movies with such Hollywood heavyweights as Vince Vaughn in Fred Claus, Jack Black in Goosebumps, and Neve Campbell in Scream.

Dylan Minnette also starred in the TV series Saving Grace opposite Holly Hunter, who was in the 1987 movie Raising Arizona with Nicolas Cage.

Uh, some famous people born in Vallejo: Sylvester Stewart, AKA Sly Stone, frontman of Sly & the Family Stone; NASCAR champion Jeff Gordon, who I was inexplicably obsessed with in high school [laughs]; hip-hop legend E-40, who spearheaded the mob music movement in the '90s.
