Oh, I mean, you know, the first thing I'll say is anyone who's been through it, you walk into the hospital, into those wards, and you see parents talking to the nurses like they're friends.

Now, I've always been a bit standoffish with nurses and doctors before that because I'm always scared of what they're going to say.

And then you, all of a sudden, you see why are they really friendly with them? Why do they know so much about them? Why are they talking about what they did this weekend? And once you get into it, you actually realise that these nurses are an extension of your family in that situation.

You couldn't pay them enough money because, you know, some of the stuff they're doing for our children and even for adults in social care and things like that, goes beyond what actually loved ones would do for their child in terms of what they clean up and what they do and the pain that they see in his children and stuff like that.

And also how they are compassionate towards their parents as well, these nurses.

He kept going on about Legos and we used to have community nurse teams come round the house every week to do his bloods and things.
