Interview with the Vampire - Thrice+

And what were your impressions of this movie, Trace, before seeing it and after? If you can remember in the Wayback Machine.

Yeah, I can't quite remember the sequence of events, but I really loved the film.

And also around that time, whether it was beforehand or afterwards...

One of my friends and I, we got 100% into those books and I really enjoyed the books.

So you've read a couple of the books? Yeah, I have.

I sort of probably started to peter out.

I actually looked it up.

There's, I think, 13 books now in the Vampire Chronicles and Rice continued writing them up until, I think, 2018 or something.

But I sort of stopped mid-90s.

But, yeah, but it was, I think, for, you know, sort of teenage girls in that period of time, it was all about the vampires.

Yeah.

Because you think it was only a couple of years beforehand you had Bram Stokes and Dracula.

Yeah, exactly.

So

it was really the time for

vampires.

Romance and love means biting.

Yeah.

And, I mean, I kind of drifted into the goth scene just after this film as well.

Both these movies are responsible

for all those, like, Those cane-carrying, flouncy, long, cheap, pleather, overcoat-wearing guys.

The

tiny glasses.

Yes.

Yeah, which was.
