On a new episode, Eric talks Street Fighter and Matt talks You Can See Everything.
Um, man.
Okay, all right.
I'm gonna, I'm gonna keep this brief because I, I, I need the movie almost to be in front of me to talk about how I had a problem with every single scene in the movie.
And I really let you down because I have family in town [laughs] and I just couldn't make it to all these movies.
No, it's fine.
It's fine.
Performances, everyone understood their assignment, okay? Like, like no one in there is doing a bad job, especially with the type of movie that they're making.
It's zany, okay? But the, the, the, that's about it.
Um, um, I guess like art direction, like set design, and the stunt work and all of that is like impressive, but the only times you would ever know that is when they are in anime animation sequences, because those are actually directed well.
And the pacing, editing, everything about the production of the movie outside of the people on set doing their hardest to make whatever story it was come to life, oh, this story was a waste.
Like this, this does annoying things, like, like, um, uh, M. Bison is the quote unquote "main villain." Okay, well, not in this movie.
He's set up to be a later main villain.
So he confronts that evil, but that evil survives, and Bison takes it away, and they run after it, and that's the end of the movie.
Um, they set it up so wide, begging for a sequel.
It's insane.
And, uh, they make a big deal out of how she's like, calls him a creep and kicks him in the nuts and is like doing her own thing.
And so it's kind of like calling out like in a, uh, like unlikable fandom things, like internet kind of like culture or whatever.
But then her character is no deeper at all than, "M.
I want revenge." Like they didn't give her a character to be like, "Oh, she's more than this," you know? Like it, it was really annoying.
It's really bad.
