Thor PedersenGUEST
So all of that, I think that is the story.
Thor PedersenGUEST
And this is where I argue that when Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay went on top of Mount Everest, they were traveling to do so.
Thor PedersenGUEST

I'm Fraser, your host, and today we're taking a look at Tenzing, the 2026 film directed by Jennifer Peedham and starring Jendon Funsock, Tom Hiddleston, Willem Dafoe, and Katrien Abalfi.
FraserHOST
And as always, we're answering one simple question.
FraserHOST

FraserHOST
This is Tenzing Norgay's story, and honestly, it's about time.
FraserHOST
There have been plenty of documentaries made about Sir Edmund Hillary, plenty of books written, but Tenzing has never received anywhere near enough of that spotlight.
LaraHOST
Great.

From him as a kid and kind of his history and sort of love of the mountain, his experiences with other climbing teams, and we establish he's almost made it to the top before and is thinking about ascending again.

We don't mention any of that.
speaker_0HOST
It's just, nope, he's got the wife and she died and they've got two daughters and he's sad.
