The Neuroscience Scholars Program really brought a cohort of individuals together that can share experiences, but also be able to bring their own scientific backgrounds as well as their individual backgrounds together and... and to share those experiences to support each other.
And maybe you wanna give a little bit of the backstory for how that brought about NeuroLatine as a result.

So, I mean, I didn't mention at the beginning, but I am from Mexico and it was actually the first time that I met other neuroscientists from Mexico through the Neuroscience Scholars Program.

And so, For us, when we met at the Neuroscience Scholars Program, it was me, Francisco, and our other co-founders, Daniela, Mini, Fernanda.

And I always like to say, it was like putting together the Avengers when this idea came along of creating NeuroLatine.

And the reason why we wanted to make NeuroLatine Which, you know, at that time of when we were thinking about it, it was primarily because we knew that we were going to have the opportunity to come back for the Society for Neuroscience in the upcoming year.


And we were like, we need to have... an event that brings together people who are Latino into a common space.

And so we got our thoughts together and we were like, what can we do? And then, yeah, I handed off to Francisco to talk about what we did.
