Episode #48: The Revelation Gifts — How Does the Holy Spirit Reveal What We Could Never Know Naturally? Lesson 8

In Episode 48 of They Call Her Mother: Faith, Family & Legacy, presented by The Amenra Kingdom Institute, we continue The Gifts of the Holy Spirit series with The Revelation Gifts — How Does the Holy Spirit Reveal What We Could Never Know Naturally? Building on the foundation established in the previous episode, Minister Aisha Amenra introduces the first category of the nine spiritual gifts listed in 1 Corinthians 12: the Word of Wisdom, the Word of Knowledge, and Discerning of Spirits. These Revelation Gifts demonstrate how the Holy Spirit can make known what could not be discovered through natural means. This episode also establishes an essential safeguard: spiritual revelation never replaces, revises, contradicts, or adds to God's written Word. The Holy Spirit who inspired Scripture will never contradict Scripture. Every impression, spiritual experience, or claimed revelation must therefore remain under the authority of God's Word and ultimately point believers back to Jesus Christ. Mother explores each Revelation Gift individually. The Word of Wisdom provides supernatural wisdom for a specific situation according to God's purposes. The Word of Knowledge reveals specific facts that could not be known naturally. Discerning of Spirits enables believers to recognize the spiritual source behind what they encounter—distinguishing what is of God, what is human, and what may be influenced by demonic spirits. Through A Mother's Memory, Minister Aisha brings these truths into everyday life, reflecting on seasons when decisions concerning her family required more than what she could see naturally. Through waiting, prayer, Scripture, and dependence upon the Holy Spirit, she learned an important lesson: God does not reveal everything—He reveals what is necessary for obedience. This episode invites listeners to ask: Do I seek God's wisdom before making important decisions? Do I test spiritual experiences against Scripture? Am I seeking the Giver more than extraordinary experiences? And can I trust God when He chooses not to reveal everything I want to know? Listen, reflect, and discover how the Holy Spirit equips Kingdom citizens to walk with wisdom, knowledge, and spiritual discernment while remaining firmly anchored in God's Word. In this episode: Why the Revelation Gifts reveal what human knowledge cannot naturally discover. Why every revelation from the Holy Spirit must agree with Scripture. What the Word of Wisdom is and how it differs from natural wisdom or personal opinion. How the Word of Knowledge reveals specific facts known only to God. What Discerning of Spirits means and why it should not be confused with suspicion or intuition. Biblical examples of the Revelation Gifts in operation. Why spiritual gifts exist for Kingdom edification rather than personal exaltation. How to remain spiritually discerning without becoming fearful or fascinated with darkness. Why the Holy Spirit reveals what is necessary for obedience rather than giving us every answer we desire. Next time, the series moves into the Power Gifts, exploring how the Holy Spirit enables ordinary believers to accomplish what human strength and ability alone could never accomplish.
