Have you ever felt inexplicably drawn to a place? There's a reason for that. In this episode, Eileen sits down with Charlie of Celestia Terra, certified locational astrologer and astrocartographer…
Yeah, thank you.
When I heard that you were going to be asking that, I kind of was like, how long do we have?
We've
got
a while.
You know, my experience has definitely been kind of like a long and windy road for sure.
So as far as spirituality is concerned, it means so many things to so many different people.
For me, when I contextualize spirituality, it certainly can involve religion, but the most spiritual that I feel, unsurprisingly with the intro and what I do, is in my connection to the land, to nature, to the natural world, and, you know, to other people.
So I very firmly believe that we are part of nature.
We are nature.
and we're part of the land, and I firmly believe that the land loves us back.
So I would say as far as that aspect is concerned, my earliest memories are from a place in Canada, a very small town called Terracotta.
We had some space there as a family.
I was living with my grandparents.
My parents divorced really early on, and it was kind of a dream as a kid.
Like, my grandparents were really cool.
We got to spend tons of time in, like, 20 acres of maple forest and, you know, just a gorgeous experience of uninterrupted connection with the land when I was really young.
Also, simultaneously, I was born into a cult.
So both things can be true.
So I will say that part of my journey with that and unpacking that, spoiler alert, I'm no longer in this cult, was kind of trying to reconcile the feelings that people associate to religious experience that I typically didn't experience in that context with the exception of music, which I think is really common for people who like grow up in a religion.
I was experiencing that outside.
I was experiencing that in connection and communion with the land, with the animals, with other people in nature, in the best of circumstances.
So as I matured a little bit, even as kind of like a young child, I realized there are things about this belief system that I don't really love.
I am not vibing with certain aspects of this.
Yeah, thank you.
