439 — The Dog Stars

So, Derek, what did you watch this week?

I watched a lot of things.

I had another full week at the movies.

I also watch some stuff on streaming.

So I'll start off with streaming.

I watched, it's a movie that came out a few months ago that I missed in theaters.

It was just like a busy time and I miss it, but I still want to see it.

And that's Is God Is, which is now streaming on Prime Video.

It's about these twins who are like basically summoned by their mother to hunt down and kill their father, who basically was abusive and badly disfigured their mother in a fire and them as well a little bit.

pretty good really good like i get it i'm like man people right like this is like a great like just like little like revenge like funny ridiculous revenge thriller like the two lead actresses are like incredible you'll fall in love with them like instantly it's a really good time

very

bloody and hilarious

so definitely recommend that it's on prime video

Also on streaming, I watched The Whisper Man, which is the new Netflix film with Robert De Niro and Adam Scott and Michelle Monaghan.

It's like a little, like, you know, serial killer thriller.

It's fine.

Nothing...

Not great, but not terribly.

It's fine.

It's okay.

Let's see.

I marked off a blind spot the other day.

I watched Baby Boom for the first time.

Oh, with the Diane Keaton movie? Yeah, the Diane Keaton film from

1987.
