Let's get into Sliding Doors, and I'll give the kind of background, and we can talk about it.

With that down, let's move on to this, shall we? You know, one of the great things about CinemaCon every year, held in Vegas in April, is the little movies that you just heard a little bit about but practically forgot or you never heard of at all that get some great presentations.

And one of the ones that did that, and we've talked about a few of them like Whale Fall and a few others, but one of the ones that really did that was was this new horror movie, Other Mommy, with one of my favorite people in the business, Jessica Chastain.

I fell in love with Jessica Chastain in The Help.

I just loved her in that.

Well, they dropped the first trailer for it.

I... cannot believe how just pure straight creepy freaky and everything in between this thing looks This trailer is a work of art in and of itself.

The whole thing of her being in the bathtub with her daughter and talking and then starting to get a little creepy.

And then the other version of Jessica Chastain walks into the room and I'm like, okay, okay.

But it doesn't need to be evil, it does not need to be sinister.

It could just be Emma, kind of like how Jessica Chastain was in Dark Phoenix, even though, eh, it's just, it wasn't well-written, but I understand the sentiment there, where it's kind of like awarding Jean the opportunity to break free from Xavier's dream and philosophies and have Jean think on her own.

You know, again, it's a very nuanced way of doing it.

Uh, you know, and again, in the comics and even in the animated show, Emma was just, you know, mustache-twirling...

Um, I'm a pretty noted hater of Aaron Sorkin-isms, and that is a unbelievably Aaron Sorkin-y movie.

But, um, Jessica Chastain is good in it, and it's also like kind of about feeling really guilty about who you are, uh, which is a-

... theme that always works for me in movies.

Like, if I'm trying to find an analog for her in 2026, I guess the closest I could come up with is, is another redhead, but it would be Jessica Chastain, who, you know, I keep thinking back to her character in The Help when I'm trying to think of, like, an analog for, uh, Thelma in this movie.

Because it's one of those characters that I think you could very easily dismiss as, like, too bubbly or not too bright or, like, prone to make errors, and she is in some ways all of those things.

But I think both of those movies do a really good job of underlining how that character is much more than those things, and you-

And I'm just, like, watching it wide-eyed.

Jessica Chastain is saying the lines from the book, and, like, I'm, she's like a giant on the screen.

And I, like, I started crying a little bit, and I wanted to, and I wish I would've.

I wanted to jump up after and be like, "I wrote that.
