This week we discuss the constant gaslighting about our economy, the Russian Pneumonic Plague lab leak and brand new UFO disclosures... We are a value for value podcast and completely independently…
But we spoke last week about Labor government's genius idea to ban credit card surcharge, which is what they labelled it as.
It was a ban on charging the surcharge by business, which we said was the dumbest thing ever.
Mm-hmm.
But I think we did mention last week too, the ATO just said, oh, yeah, we're not going to eat that money.
Which is hilarious because Labor came out and said, like, this is going to protect people and business and it's good and we're going to save you $1.6 billion.
We'll play like the first couple of minutes of it because I want to see if you notice what I notice.
The first one is about card surcharges.
We've stepped in to ensure that the tax office can take credit card payments until the end of June next year.
This will give them the time to consult more with small business and to get it right.
