The Universally Speaking Podcast
Sep 10, 2026 · 55 min · 14 segments
Jay & Kenny are back in this episode to tackle more your Hot Takes which include Toon Lagoon, The ET Adventure, Epic Universe, Twister Ride It Out & much more! Hope you enjoy!
But, Jay, before we get started, I think it is noteworthy to say that we are recording this episode on the same day that Fast and Furious Supercharged closes permanently.
How are you feeling right now?
How am I feeling? I don't know how I'm feeling.
Surreal.
It's surreal.
It's long overdue, Kenny.
You know it's long overdue, but seeing the scenes recently with everyone turning up and riding it for the last time and making it a true party bus with people wearing bald caps, it was...
An unbelievable turnout from the pass holders.
You weren't there, Kenny.
You could have gone down.
You
know, I could have, but this was like the first week of school and I was drop dead tired by Friday.
I just was not feeling like driving down there for that reason.
Now, I'll ride down there for an opening, not the closing of whatever we had to deal with the last few years.
Because I was thinking about that ride all day today, and I'm like, man, what a weird time to be alive.
What a strange era in Universal history to have built that ride.
Crazy.
Crazy.
And even though everyone hates it, people still showed up out of pure irony just to say goodbye to it.
So rest in peace, we'll pour one out for the family.
And I think I'd be sad if that would be the end of Fast and Furious representation in the parks, but we're getting a much better attraction that actually suits the franchise.
So I think this is a really good change.
He's sticking around.
