Uh, my first one that I bought recently is Fight Club, the new Steelbook, and 4K release of David Fincher's 1999 cult classic.

Uh, yeah this was very exciting to purchase and pre-order uh dylan said he did the same and it's been really exciting see all of david fincher's movies be slow slowly released into 4k

all these movies uh all of his movies in particular look pristine and i have not watched this yet i haven't watched a decent amount of the 4ks i bought of his filmography recently, but I'm excited to get to all of them because he's a masterful filmmaker and mean this is if not his best known like top three best known movies it's a it's a modern classic

and it's a like a weirdly visual feast and uh the 4k i have watched the 4k since i got it and it looks great that's

and uh you know fincher is known for like going back and tinkering a lot and like taking little things out of shots and like relighting little things and people online kind of complained about that but i didn't notice much with either Fight Club or Panic Room that I'm like, okay, that broke immersion.

He knows how to do it without altering the original intent of that scene or that movie.

And it tells you like 20 years later, almost over 20 years later for Fight Club, he's going back and

the perfectionism yes in the level of our tour that he really is i love him he's probably my favorite if not so the cats are going wild right now uh he's definitely my top five maybe even top three all time i i love fincher my top feeling he's one of those guys that woke me up as a younger guy i feel like this movie would be a fun double feature with fight glove actually it would be a little bit of fight club a little bit of friendship uh one like both very interesting characters you know but yeah this is andrew de young's uh directorial debut uh friendship starring tim robinson and paul rudd and i was telling nathan nathan and my brother and my uncle and i we all saw this movie together we had a great crowd we had a great time this movie is a very specific type of humor But this movie really just speaks to my comedic sensibilities.
