We have preseason Game 1 in the books.

John, you were in Pittsburgh.

Give me your big takeaways.

Well, it, it...

Preseason games are so hard because you, you're trying to pull out the good and the bad.

Um, and, and quite frankly, you don't get a lot of plays, right, Ha Ha?

Right.

You, you really don't on, on most players, especially the starters.

They went out there, they wet their beak, they got a drive offensively.

I think they got two drives defensively, the starters that did play-

Right

... that is, before they got their, their quick hook.

I thought it was a good job of Matt LaFleur to do that.

There's a lot of science behind it, and there's also the game planning that you gotta get, um, under your belt and get ready to play these football games.

And then when you talk about playing the game and, and how you evaluate it, well, I, I, I look at a couple guys that, that showed up and, and stood out.

I thought, um, Brenton Cox stood out on the defensive side.

I thought Brandon CeeCe stood out on the defensive side.

Um, I thought Sky Moore showed, "Hey, I'm here to be a returner and wide receiver." So there's a lot of little nuggets that you can pull from the game.

With that being said, it's a preseason game.

The biggest standout of the night was easily the kicker, Trace Mack.

It was three for three in your box score, but he, he even banged the one that they, that they, uh, took the penalty on, so-
