Wabush Airport, we talked to Phil Earle, the MP, about this last year, I believe it was.
And Phil is out again today expressing his frustration about the state of affairs at Wabush Airport.
If you didn't hear the news, the frustration is that a piece of news The airport's firefighting equipment, a vehicle specifically, is broken down.
And I totally get Mayor Canning, as she just was expressing it in the news, being frustrated about all of this.
in places like Wabush and other communities in Newfoundland and Labrador feel angry from time to time when some of the main links to their communities, like the airports, don't work.
There's probably lots of reasons for this, but they have every right to be angry and frustrated.
I know that, according to what I read from Phil Earle, the MP, he's been talking to the transport minister and others today to try and address this.
But as we are looking to continue to benefit from the mines and minerals we have, particularly in Labrador, we've got to do better here for the people of Wabush and for the people that go in and out of there to find a piece of equipment or series of pieces of equipment that work better.
