It is amazing how, even though the zombies split up in the late 1960s, is that you continued that bond and collaboration into the 70s and beyond.

You had the freedom to do your own projects, but you helped each other out continually over the years until the zombies reformed.

I think one always has to remember that we went through our formative years together.

And then after that, we were always... joining one another on projects until we got back together again in 1999 and eventually reformed to Zombies.

You know, we thought originally we were only going to play together for six nights and we enjoyed it so much that we kept together for 25 years, which is a bit of a contrast.

But it was what we call the second incarnation of the zombies was great fun.

We went all around the world and played in some of the biggest arenas and theatres around the world, from the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles to Carnegie Hall in New York and the Albert Hall in London and all around.

And when we got back together again, we started playing off in rooms at the back of pubs.

It's been a wonderful adventure and it's been made more wonderful just because it was so unexpected.

That second wind of the zombies, as you say, Colin, culminated in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Yeah, I think for me personally, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame was the big night for the zombies.
