How Do You Move Forward Without Answers?

How do you move forward without answers? Jackie Patillo, President of the Gospel Music Association and executive producer of the GMA Dove Awards, joins The Stephan Hogan Podcast for an honest conversation about Christian music, gospel music, faith, grief, leadership and calling. Jackie opens up about losing her son Gabriel to cancer, wrestling with anger and unanswered prayer, and carrying public responsibility through private heartbreak when she felt she “couldn’t fall apart.” (gospelmusic.org, jackiepatillo.com) In this interview, Jackie shares her journey from the front desk to A&R leadership, how she helped rebuild trust in the Gospel Music Association, and what it took to grow the Dove Awards into one of Christian and gospel music’s biggest nights. We discuss servant leadership, self-doubt, single motherhood, the Christian music industry, Nashville’s Museum of Christian & Gospel Music and following God before you feel qualified.
