But the Browns have won four straight against the black and gold in Cleveland and are 6-1 in their last seven home meetings with the Steelers.

And the Steelers are 0-4 in Cleveland on Thursday nights and 0-9 in divisional Thursday night games overall.

Yeah, uh, it's-- it, it adds to the, uh, the magnitude of these games because, you know, I've always put it as historically in, in the big picture, you know, these teams are kind of on opposite ends of the spectrum, these two franchises.

They couldn't really be more different that way and-- but, you know, in the actual matchups themselves, the head-to-head meetings, it's been a lot more balanced.

But, um, yeah, I mean, Steelers-Browns, it, it's, it's the clichéd throw the record books out the window when these two teams meet.

The game is not played on paper because we've seen over the years massive on-paper advantages, whether it's the record or the depth chart or who's healthy, who's at quarterback, and it doesn't always come to fruition.

Uh, but let's hope the, the Steelers and where they are right now in their overall, uh, team-building process comes to fruition tonight against a young Browns team that's, I think, i-in the grand scheme of things, probably still ascending more than it's arrived.

But a lot of these guys for the Steelers, Ed, they've arrived and it's, it's time to go kick some tail up in Cleveland.

We are counting down to our Countdown to Kickoff show at four o'clock today with Tom Offerman and Wa- Matt Williamson, followed by the six o'clock pregame show with Mike Persuta, Jerry Dulac, and Bob Labriola.

So we are about two hours away now from Tom and Matt getting things started with Countdown to Kickoff.

But before we dive into the nuts and bolts of this Thursday night matchup between the Steelers and the Browns, the big news that occurred overnight Wednesday into early morning Thursday here earlier this morning was Joey Porter Jr., no longer a Pittsburgh Steeler, reportedly traded to the Dallas Cowboys in exchange for a 2027 six-round draft pick and a 2028 second-round draft pick.

Uh, Double B, this would end all the drama that's been, uh, involved with Joey Porter Jr. since the start of really minicamp and OTAs back in the spring, through the summer and training camp in Latrobe, and even the first few weeks of the regular season.

I mean, honestly, growing up, probably my very favorite player was Joey Porter Sr.

It was awesome to see Joey Porter Jr. suit up as a Steeler for a few seasons, and I always personally, uh, had fine interactions with him in, in the locker room and, uh, at practice in, in Latrobe and, and whatnot.
